General information about the protection of personal data by the Chiropractic Knowledge Hub
The Chiropractic Knowledge Hub collects and stores personal information about people in various contexts, e.g., when registering for Continued Professional Development courses, administering internships and in connection with various research projects.
Often the legal basis for personal data processing is consent, but there may also be contractual matters such as the holding of courses or balancing of interests when registering the chiropractors' participation in Continued Professional Development.
The Chiropractic Knowledge Hub always seeks to process this information with the highest degree of transparency for the registered parties and always in full compliance with the EU Personal Data Regulation and the current accompanying Danish legislation, including in particular by applying appropriate measures to ensure personal data protection and securing that the registered persons may be able to exercise their rights in relation to access to any personal data, the Chiropractic Knowledge Hub may process, request for correction or deletion of information, etc.

Processing personal data in connection with Continued Professional Development courses
The data collected and processed comprise only general personal information such as name, address, email, employer's name and contact information for billing purposes.
The purpose is the correct and smooth running of courses in the continuing education unit, and where it includes accommodation, personal information is passed on to the course location.
The information is included after the course in the registration of systematic continuing education.
Processing of personal data in connection with the registration of systematic continuing education
The data collected and processed only include general personal information such as name, address and continuing education activity.
The purpose is to systematize and raise the level of training of practicing chiropractors for the benefit of patients, society and the practitioners themselves.
Processing of personal data in connection with shift administration
The data collected and processed only includes general personal information such as name, address, email, employer name and contact information.
The purpose is the correct and smooth running of courses in connection with the rotation education, and where it includes accommodation, personal information is passed on to the course location.
Processing of personal data in connection with research projects
The various research projects will not collect and process exactly the same personal information, but typical categories may be sensitive data in the form of health information, general personal information such as name, email, age and gender and CPR number.
The purpose is health science research with a view to promoting the general state of health. The legal basis is the data subject's consent, from which the specific purpose, any recipients and other information appear.
After collection, the further processing of personal data will take place in pseudonymised form, where directly identifiable information such as name or CPR number. are separated and stored separately from the other information. Ie. that the individual researcher cannot immediately see who a given personal data is about. However, it is still possible to re-establish the connection using the separately stored data, but rights to this are severely limited.
Publication of research results will always take place in a form where individuals cannot be identified.
Complaints
In Denmark, the Danish Data Protection Agency monitors compliance with personal data legislation.
If you feel that you have been subjected to illegal processing of your personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency. However, it is always their recommendation to first contact the company in question before filing a complaint.
